Grants Support

IBS administrative staff provide extensive pre-award proposal preparation and post-award grants management for IBS faculty, research associates, postdoctoral scholars and graduate students. Specifically they distribute information regarding new grant opportunities; assist  in grant proposal development and preparation, report preparation, grant management, and applications for human subjects approval. In meeting grant-related compliance requirements, the staff provide a variety of administrative support services that faculty cannot do or can do only at the cost of lost research time.

Much of this includes budget preparation, completion of proposal forms, human subjects approval, proposal editing and formatting, compilation of citations, coordination of subcontracts and letters of support, internal approvals, and submission through Grants.Gov, Fastlane, and the like. Staff are prepared to help investigators especially with doing international research.
