Brief Biography: Justin Vinneau Palarino is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Sociology at the University of Colorado Boulder. He is a population health researcher with interests in international migration, chronic health conditions, population aging, and quantitative methods. His personal research agenda focuses primarily on the health of African and Caribbean black immigrants living in the United States. Additional realms of his research examine the health of older and elderly adults in the United States, American and international mortality trends, and the physical and psychological health of Mexican, Central American, and South American immigrants in the United States.
