Brief Biography: Zach is a PhD student in the Department of Sociology and a research assistant at CU’s Institute of Behavioral Science. His research interests include population health, demography, and quantitative methods. In 2019, Zach received his Master’s degree in Sociology from the University in Oklahoma. In his Master’s thesis he examined how self-perceived weight affects adolescents’ mental health trajectories through young adulthood and how these outcomes vary by gender.
